And there are log cabins you may also rent which are beautiful and you can BBQ. If you want a nice quiet vacation - go to The Grand Beach Motel.
Amazingly beautiful, friendly owner and very reasonable
There is nothing wrong with this little motel; the people were very nice and the room was adequate. If you want luxury, this is not the right place. The rooms are clean, but very small. Very hard to use a blow dryer or curling iron in the bathroom, because there's no counter to put it on, and no outlets to use anywhere else. I slept really good, though. It is basically as advertised--clean & comfy, no frills, a place to sleep. If I had one complaint, it would be that the room seemed musty, like it didn't get used a lot and was very stuffy. The faint musty smell was noticeable. Needs some ventilation.
I have been staying at The Grand Beach Motel for many years because we had a summer home in Grand Beach Michigan and I love the area. The Grand Beach Motel is family owned and has a great swimming pool onsite. Its is in a desirable location for going to the beach and restaurants in the area.
clean and affordable. took the family on a last minute weekend getaway and decided to try the grand beach motel. best price in the area and one of the only places left with availability. brett was very nice and had some good tips on what to check out. it was a simple room to rest our heads after spending the day at the beaches. bug free and clean. would recommend for a budget friendly weekend getaway.
